Life Insurance

Protect your family. Build your future.

Every form of life insurance, explained with honesty and care. My specialty, and what I love helping families with most, is Indexed Universal Life (IUL): lifelong protection with cash value you can use while you're living.

Life Insurance Options

The right policy for your season of life.

I'll learn your goals, explain your options in plain language, and help you choose coverage that fits your family and your budget, with no pressure and no jargon.

My specialty

Indexed Universal Life

Permanent coverage with cash value that can grow based on a market index, protected by a 0% floor. This is what I love helping families with most.

How IUL works

Term Life

Affordable protection for a set period (10, 20 or 30 years), ideal for covering a mortgage or raising children.

Whole Life

Lifelong coverage with guaranteed premiums, a guaranteed death benefit, and steady cash value growth.

Mortgage Protection

Coverage sized to your home loan so your family can keep the house, often with living-benefit riders.

Instant decisions

Final Expense Whole Life

Simplified whole life coverage that eases the cost of final arrangements, so loved ones aren't left with the bill. No medical exam, and in many cases you'll know if you're approved on the spot.

Spotlight: Indexed Universal Life

Protection today. Wealth for tomorrow.

An IUL is permanent life insurance with a cash value account. Part of each premium pays for your coverage; the rest builds cash value that earns interest linked to a market index like the S&P 500®, without being invested in the market directly.

Downside protection

A 0% floor means your cash value is never credited a loss because the index went down.

Market-linked growth

When the index rises, your cash value is credited interest up to the policy's cap or participation rate.

Tax advantages

Cash value grows tax-deferred and can be accessed through policy loans that are generally income-tax-free.

Lifelong death benefit

A generally income-tax-free benefit for your loved ones, designed to last your whole life.

Flexible premiums

Within policy limits, adjust what you pay as your income and goals change.

Living benefits

Optional riders can let you access the death benefit early for a qualifying chronic, critical or terminal illness.

No contribution caps

Unlike a 401(k) or IRA, there are no IRS income limits on who can fund a policy. Funding is limited only by the policy's design.

Retirement & legacy

Cash value can supplement retirement income, fund college, or pass wealth to the next generation.

How an IUL Works

Simple in principle. Powerful over time.

You pay premiums

Flexible payments fund your policy. A portion covers the cost of insurance and fees.

Cash value builds

The remainder goes into your cash value, credited with interest based on index performance.

Floor & cap apply

In down years you're credited 0%, not a loss. In up years, growth is credited up to the cap.

You access it

Borrow against your cash value for retirement, emergencies or opportunities while your family stays protected.

Homeowners & Life Insurance

Protect the home and the people in it.

Your mortgage is likely your family's largest monthly bill. The right life insurance plan helps make sure they can stay in the home you worked so hard to buy.

Because I'm also your Realtor®, I understand your mortgage, your timeline and your goals. That means I can recommend coverage that fits your real life.

  • Coverage sized to your mortgage balance and family's needs
  • IUL cash value that can grow while you live in your home
  • Living-benefit riders for serious illness
  • Policies that move with you from your first home to your forever home
  • Annual reviews as your family and equity grow
IUL Questions

Good to know.

Is an IUL an investment in the stock market?

No. Your cash value isn't invested in the market. Interest is credited based on the performance of an index, subject to a cap, participation rate and floor set by the insurance company. You don't own shares, and the floor helps protect against index losses.

Who is an IUL a good fit for?

IULs often suit people who want lifelong protection, have maxed out or want to complement retirement accounts, and can fund a policy consistently over many years. If you mainly need affordable coverage for a set period, term life may be a better fit. I'll always recommend what's right for you.

How do I access my cash value?

Most people use policy loans or withdrawals. When a policy is properly structured and kept in force, loans are generally not taxable income. Loans accrue interest and reduce the death benefit and cash value if they aren't repaid.

What are the costs?

IULs have cost-of-insurance charges, administrative fees and, in the early years, surrender charges. I'll walk you through a personalized illustration so you understand exactly how your policy works before you decide.

Do I have to buy life insurance to work with you as my Realtor®?

Never. My real estate and insurance services are completely separate. You're always free to choose any agent or provider.

Indexed Universal Life insurance is not a security or a direct investment in the stock market or any index. Index-linked interest is subject to caps, participation rates and floors set by the issuing insurance company and may change. Policies include cost-of-insurance charges, fees and surrender charges. Policy loans and withdrawals reduce the cash value and death benefit, accrue interest, and may cause the policy to lapse, which could result in tax consequences. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances and current tax law; consult a qualified tax professional. Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurer. Illustrations are hypothetical and not guaranteed. Coverage is subject to underwriting and approval. S&P 500® is a registered trademark of S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC.
